Some back story - I got my first 35mm camera when I was 12 or 13, and my dad was a writer and company photographer for Nordson Corp., which produced airless paint and hotmelt application systems worldwide. He traveled the world, and we had a darkroom in our house, so I learned how to shoot, develop, and print color and black & white film. All the old-school stuff - working in the darkroom, loading film cans, using an enlarger, different kinds of cameras from 35mm, to medium-format Hasselblads, to press cameras shooting an 8"x10" negative - even Polaroids sometimes.

And then, I got hooked on shooting video, which became digital cinematography, and now, I'm splitting my time between cinematography and traditional photography. Almost all of my video and photography work has been for brands, advertising, marketing, promotional, corporate communications or business-to-business projects. I never shot news, or weddings, or other personal events, and mostly worked as a contractor for other production companies or advertising agencies. Most of my clients would prefer that I'm "invisible" to their clients, so I've become very good at that, and I've had some pretty amazing opportunities - that I can't talk about...
